Account Validation

To maintain the integrity of our platform and comply with UK law, AB Bet ltd (TeamBet) is required to verify the identity of our customers. Account validation helps prevent fraud, underage gambling, and money laundering, and ensures we operate in line with the UK Gambling Commission's Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice.

When We Verify

We may ask you to verify your identity when you register, before your first withdrawal, or at any time while your account is active. Verification is typically required before you can withdraw funds. We aim to process verification checks quickly so you can access your winnings without unnecessary delay.

Documents We May Request

  • Proof of identity – Passport, driving licence, or national ID card
  • Proof of address – Utility bill, bank statement, or council tax bill (usually within the last 3 months)
  • Proof of payment – Copy of card or screenshot of e-wallet showing relevant details
  • Source of funds – In some cases, we may ask for evidence of where your funds come from

How Verification Works

You will be asked to upload documents securely through your account or by email. We use trusted third-party providers to verify documents electronically where possible. In most cases, verification is completed within 24 to 48 hours. If we need additional information, we will contact you.

Account Restrictions

Until verification is complete, we may restrict certain account functions, including withdrawals. If you fail to provide requested documents within a reasonable timeframe, we may suspend or close your account in accordance with our regulatory obligations. We will not retain your documents longer than necessary for legal and regulatory purposes.
